It’s that time again. Time to start collecting a boat load of new minions and mounts. So here is a list of known minions, mounts and barding and how to get them. Some item names may be estimates. If you know of how to get any of the mounts or minions, please post and share the information

There are a couple of minions and mounts in the files that are not on the Lodestone/Libra Eorzea Database. Historically this means that while they exist, they are not available to obtain until a future patch which adds them to the Lodestone.

They also showed 4 new minions in the prelim patch nodes, including a griffin and a unicorn.

Ugh. Patch notes are down with the Lodestone Maintenance. It probably won't come up until after release, so I'll just wait until we have the data ready to update.

But it looks like there is 27 minions and 9 mounts to look forward to!

Manacutter - MSQ reward for quest that send you to the lvl 55 dungeon, The Aery
Red Panda - random drop from last boss in the The Aery
Gaelicat - rumor to drop in last boss in the lvl 53 dungeon, I forget the name
Unicorn - confirmed drops randomly on last boss in the lvl 57 dungeon - I'm not there, so I don't know the name of it, but friend got drop today.
Flyer Shaffron Barding from completion of quest to "I Believe I Can Fly" which lets your company chocobo and fat chocobo fly
Atrophoed Atomos is a lvl 60 ALC craft
Iron Dwarf is a lvl 60 ARM craft

Wind-up Cid - MSQ reward (LV58 or 59 I don't remember)
Accompaniment Node - LV60 side quest "Do It for Gilly" reward. Completed the Fractal Continuum dungeon.

I have a feeling the book minion might be a dungeon drop from the library. No idea about any of the others. Are we due a new summer event soon?
