Can I play Heavansward on a different system for the 1st time?

I preorder the expansion and, as such, have access to the early relase tomorrow. I am currently visiting a friend out of town who also has a PS4 and has preordered it as well. If I were to play my character on his PS4 would that somehow mess up my ability to play it on my own system since I have yet to download the patch or the expansion on my primary console?

I know I can play the game on other systems by logging in with my profile but I am unsure if this will somehow mix things up since I preordered the game on my home system but have yet to jump through the hoops verifying the account info when you access the patch for the first time. Some help please?

I wouldn't risk it. I agree you "should" be able to do this no prob, but, I would be worried like you. Just do something else for the weekend I guess.

if you have ps4 and he has game also all you will need to do is login to your psn from his system and download the update and it will run without any issue
