No new mode announced?

I was hoping to see the new PvP mode being mentioned in the patch notes. Did I misread something a while back or is the dev team still trying to get people into PvP more before adding anything new? If you ask me, they should add it along with HW so people wouldn't be too absorbed in the main storyline and PvE content which would draw the players away from it with all the amazing stuff that you can do outside PvP. I don't even know anymore, and its hard to be calm about it when its nearly impossible to see if they're working hard on improving PvP or not. Maybe its me expecting too much. I like the tactic rating at the end of matches though, nice touch I suppose...

It was known that we would get the new map (with new rules for that map) about a month after Heavensward launches alongside Alexander Savage and the release of Esoteric tomes.
