Hello FFXIV friends! In my free time, I enjoy coming up with all sorts of suggestions for fun additions to the game, as I'm sure many of you also do. With Heavensward early access coming tomorrow, a couple of ideas I've been waiting to submit are already in the game! In light of this, it seems like I may as well post them already!

First, a few minions. As you'll see, the dev team has already beat me to the punch on some of these.

Wistful Wisps
(A pair of will-o'-the-wisps. Both are round, pale blue, and produce a luminescent flame effect. The wisps hover over the player's left and right shoulders.)
[Behavior: Obedient]
Take care should you allow this pair of lonesome spirits to follow you, for though their intentions are benign, you may end up mistaken for one of the wandering dead.

Hearttrap
(A small landtrap with softer, gentler features. Its leaves are violet, with a distinct pink heart pattern around the mouth. It occasionally spritzes out a fine cloud of pink mist from its mouth.)
[Behavior: Independent]
Over a decade of painstaking intercrossing experiments by the Alchemists' Guild have yielded this variety of roselet. Divested of thorns and toxins, it breathes a beguiling perfume and probably won't bite.

Recreation Node
(A miniature version of the ADS. It hovers and follows behind the player. It occasionally activates several differently colored laser lights that oscillate briefly.)
[Behavior: Obedient]
By all appearances, this Allagan sphere's only function is to create dazzling displays of multi-colored light. A word to the wise: Do not taunt Recreation Node.

Stuffed Atomos
(An "ugly cute" plush version of Atomos. It hovers in place.)
[Behavior: Stationary]
This automaton in the likeness of the voidsent Atomos may be stuffed, but that doesn't mean it's not still hungry. It's always hungry.

And here's a few food items and their recipes. I admit, I'm not much of a Culinarian, so these may be off-base on ingredients. It's the thought that counts!

Matron’s Bounty
(Two round scoops of ice cream, side by side in a white porcelain dish. Mint green sauce covers the top of about half of both scoops in an unbroken drape. A sprig of mint garnishes the side covered in sauce.)
Silky smooth ice cream served in two generous scoops and draped in mint sauce. According to rumor, the culinarian responsible for this dessert's creation claimed he was "divinely inspired" by imagery of Nophica, the Matron.

Bomb Drop
(A shiny, fiery red ball of candy. On its face, in light orange, a bomb's eyes and mouth are stenciled on.)
A spherical cinnamon-flavored candy. So spicy, it's akin to placing a bomb coal on your tongue, and that's before you reach its crackling core. Self-destructs in your mouth, not in your hand!

Sabotender Soda
(A tall contour glass bottle with the shape of a sabotender's eyes and mouth molded into it. The contents are a fizzing, bright lemony yellow liquid.)
This refreshing concoction is popular as an energy tonic and homeopathic remedy. No sabotenders were harmed in the making of this product.

Gummy Boars
(Gelatin fruit chew candies in bright red, yellow and green, vaguely shaped like the profile of a boar. About half a dozen of these cradled atop a sheet of brown wrapping paper.)
Soft, chewy sweets molded into boar shapes. Children love these candies regardless of harboring any fondness for boars.
