PS4 patches downloads?

What I downloaded was 3.5 gigs and it changed the logo to the Heavensward logo. I have the Digital CE from the Sony store with EA but for some reason it shows that I can download the game but it says



anyone have this problem? I'm assuming its because the servers don't go live till 2 am PDT but I was hoping to have the game fully installed so I can just jump right in. Unless that 3.5 gig I downloaded was the game which I highly doubt.

Try signing on your PS4 account on this site https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-ca/home/main
Navigate to your download list, you should see the game and an option to "Download to your PS4" this should bypass the error. (be sure that your PS4 is on)

I've only had a 5.08gb dl and one for 2.06gb, downloading as I type this.

Ah, thank you for the tip. My download is 1.72 and is downloading atm. Should be done in about 40 mins.

Here's my screen:

Platform: PS4
PSN Region: EU
Game purchased via Playstation store website (not PS4 in app)
Download Started : June 18th 4PM PDT
Steps:
1. the initial Boot system took about 10 minutes to launch (usually 5-10 seconds).
2. License agreement to register game.
3. enter username and password
4. pre-install first time installing. (about 11MB although not sure wasn't looking)
5.Downloading ffxiv - 2015.05.13.000.0002 (5744.05MB)

6263 minutes... I really feel sorry for you,sir

I logged in dismorning even servers were coming up. Had a 2.? Gb download only took like 20 mins. Just a fyi

FYI for people still with problems:

On the PS4 cross menu bar (where you launch games), scroll to the ffxiv game picture like you are going to launch the game. Instead of pushing x, push down on the d pad, then push right on the d pad. This will bring you to a bunch of pictures and stuff about the game. scroll down past trophies, friends, and recent activities. as you go past recent activities you will hit view all, scroll down on d pad on more time. Now you're in add on section.

Under add ons, it should say "my add-ons" and there should be heavenward. push x, it will take you to another page with a little download arrow next to FFXIV HW. Push x on it and after about 5 seconds you will see "FFXIV HW added to downloads" thats the 1.7gb patch everyone is missing and the reason your launcher doesn't look right and the reason you can't start the HW quests in game.
