Its because Heavensward isnt link yet to your account. At first launch after maintenance you will be prompt to do so.

Dont worry, Mogstation know that you buy it, just dont know which account it is for.

When I first launched this morning it started download of abut 5gb. When that it ended it closed out and then relaunched with a new menu confirming which service to link heavenward with, then proceeded to downloadanther 3gb file. For psn preorder

39.97gb. Version 2.97. The actual patch downloads were guesstamites lol. And ti answer the question about what the launcher looks like for my account now, it no longer days ARR:

Same thing for me. Does it show the HW logo for you above the "This game is undergoing maintaince" ?

Well that is good news! That's the same size as mine and I only did the 3.7Gb patch.
