Wow tried this and it failed horribly.

I don't believe this will happen. I remember reading something brushing over the topic and their reason is that the voice chat would only make trolls, dirtbags and the dark side of this(every community has one) community even more visible and destructive to any new players coming.

Think about it. If you thought trolls were bad with words imagine how much worse it could be with voice.


Also the obvious reason is the strain on the data being transferred with so many people in any given area.
