PSA: If you want to play the game in DX11, you must enable it yourself!

For digital copies, do we have to download the new client? I can't imagine just flipping the DX11 switch will change everything over.

It downloaded as part of the patch. Like many people on these forums, you're confusing "client" for "assets." The "client" is merely an executable that assembles the game "assets" into what we actually play. So a separate client doesn't need a bulky extra download, as the assets are shared between them.

I hadn't noticed that in the launcher, thank you!

Was unable to flip the switch in the config menu the first time I tired. So, I quit the launcher, ran dxdiag.exe to check my DirectX version, loaded the launcher again and it worked. o.O?
