Poll/Discussion: Which playable race would you want in Final Fantasy XIV after Au Ra?

How many of these threads do we need? We havent even got our first new race yet and already people are wanting something else...

Most of these would be better suited for beast tribe races more than player races.

Welcome to forum complaining. No matter what is added, no matter how good it is, no matter how numerous and dense content is, people will continue to ask for more even before they get it.

Something without tail but with wings would be nice

If they ever did add a race with wings, the wings would have to be vestigial. SE is pretty firm about their "No one choice should be a complete advantage over another choice" in regards to character creation.
Also adding wings would make the art department cry. Our models can barely handle tails :P

A beast race that is actually a beast race would be awesome. It'd give us some variety.

I want Bangaa badly. But then again, I'd prefer an actual MMO in Ivalice, which is what I was hoping FFXIV was to begin with, they had so many races already established they could have used. That's still a pet peeve I've had for a while, I WANT MORE IVALICE!

I just want to see where everyone stands now when they've gotten a look at Au Ra in the benchmark. I remember when Heavensward was announced as sky themed that Gria was a popular suggestion (I saw it mentioned a lot more than Aegyl, for example), and female Au Ra are, pretty much, Gria aesthetically but without wings and with extra scales. I'm actually surprised that Gria are beating plant people (Lilty, I'm more particular to their Crystal Bearers looks than their Lalafellin incarnations) and Hummingway (since Hummingway are a lot like FFXII moogles that so many want, just without being Moogles).

It needs to be mostly human and I'd really rather not have another tall/ lithe race with ears. Especially concept art =/= how it'll look like in game. So something with wings will be nice
