So there's a lot that is really making me mad about the ending.

Firstly, these are a bunch of mooks. I am the warrior of light. I've killed like, 10 dragons. I can't fight 4 mooks?

Secondly, there really should be an option to just strangle every lalafel in Ul'dah. Seriously, these guys have done nothing good. Why are they all evil?

Thirdly, there is no way in hell Merwyll (the Limsa leader...I forget how to spell it) would just walk away. Gridania's seedseer? Okay maybe.

But Merwyll would've shot that idiot Crystal Brave in the face. And she would've killed him.

There is zero chance any of the leaders would actually believe the Scions were guilty. We've fought gods with them. I wanted the entire party in the chamber to just bust out their guns and completely decimate the entire brass blades.

Seriously those guys are jokes...they've done nothing but suck the entire storyline, now we're expected to believe those guys and a few crystal braves can take out well, basically everyone?

Everyone but Lolorito called BS on Adaledji (And Raubahn killed him for running his mouth).
The Admeral had to almost be draged away by Kan-E and their subbordenents BECAUSE she was about to lose her shit over it and cause an international incedent BY shooting every one that got in her way.
And other than Lolorito and Adaledji I dont think there were any other Lala Synicate members let alone moneterists.
And I think Lolorito was pulling Adaledji's strings too due to him only looking mildly disapointed by Adaledji's death and Ilberd following Lolorito's commands with out hesitation even after Adaledji was dead.

1 - You're fighting a bunch of mooks sure, chances are however that they come from Ul'dah and probably have family in Ul'dah and chances are you won't be pulling any punches. It wouldn't look good if the "Warrior of light" suddenly killed a crap ton of brass blades after being accused of killing Nanamo.

2 - Momodi, Tataru, Nanamo, Papashan, heck that one in Ul'dah's story line is pretty deadset on making the brass blades more pure. Lots of fine Lalafell in the story.

3 - Merlwyb wanted to, her bodyguard kind of stepped in and went "We.. Need to go, Merlwyb." I mean, shoot, two of the more powerful members of the Syndicate would've been killed if Merlwyb intervened, as there was no one to stop Raubahn from killing Lolorito without Ilberd. Chances are everyone on Lolorito's paylist would've been pissed and the alliance, seeing as how Ul'dah is a massive trading hub, would've suffered immensely and a foreign leader just helped do it.

Not many people do believe the Scions are guilty, Raubahn sure didn't and I heavily doubt the other leaders did. It's destroy the alliance however if a bunch of foreign leaders just killed guys who are supposedly there to protect you (The Crystal Braves) and effectively ended the lives of two of the most powerful men in the Syndicate, literally with one of them and possibly literally with the other.

My two gil on your points:

1. yes, you're the Warrior of Light, and "mooks" like that should've been no problem...but what would fighting back have accomplished? The folks determined to make you look guilty would've latched onto the fact that you fought back as proof of your guilt. Seriously, just look at Raubahn. He straight-up murdered a dude in front of a LOT of witnesses; legally, he's probably all kinds of screwed.
2. mass genocide helps nobody. Yes, most of the Lalafell NPCs in game are consumed by some level of greed--even Tataru isn't immune. But would you really kill off good folk like Tataru or Pipin just because they belong to a race that, for whatever reason, makes up a large portion of the NPC baddies? We've had lots of times IRL where this happened, and it didn't end well for the folks that started it.
3. Merlwyb is a former pirate, yes. She can be stubborn and hot-headed to a fault...but she's also smart. Smart enough to realize that the player character has been set up, but ALSO smart enough to know that taking any action to defend you at that point would be seen as aiding and abetting an accused criminal. Teledji Adeledji and/or Lolorito would use that as an excuse to drag Limsa and potentially Gridania into a war, and nobody can afford that right now with the Garleans, beast tribes, and Ascians causing trouble every few minutes.

Ohhhh boy, this again?! Heavens forfend...

Firstly, they vastly outnumber you, and you are unarmed. No class can fight effectively while unarmed, not even monks. Go punch someone wearing chain mail to verify this.

Secondly, that would put you squarely in an "evil" alignment, and as the Warrior of Light we can't do that.

Thirdly, Merlwyb (and probably Kan-E-Senna) didn't want to walk away, but they had no other option. Otherwise it would have become an international incident, then a civil war that would tear Eorzea apart. With Garlemald looming on the horizon and looking for a weakness to exploit, that's not something anyone can afford.

Everyone knows the accusations put up against you are complete and total bullshit, but the Monetarists played the game quite well, and without any way to really disprove their accusations except through accomplices to the crime, there's not really anything we can legally do. Illegal action would just give them legal grounds to arrest us, then a trial by kangaroo court and a long sentence in the Masajara Pit with Raubahn or a swift execution.

Sure, individual Brass Blades aren't that impressive, and the Crystal Braves (excepting maybe Ilberd) probably aren't much better. But they could easily win through sheer numbers - it was you (unarmed), Minfilia (who is seemingly incapable of defending herself), and four other Scions against TWO FULL ARMIES. Your funeral.

Christ, being the Warrior of Light doesn't mean you're invincible or that you can slaughter city guards because they're corrupt...

I mean, really, if we must go there, Nanamo could have just respawned at an Aetheryte. If you want to blame anyone, blame Nanamo for AFK-ing on the floor at such a crucial moment. She should have accepted the res immediately and sorted things out before the situation got any worse!
