This Game need new type of quest

Ok I really don't mind about the battle system, jumping, etc.
I adapt to a game that I play. I will let other people shape the game.
Supprise factor is thrilling for me.

But 1 thing for sure, the game didn't have any content.

So this is my thought so far:

    - Guild Leves are just like daily quest that reset 36 hours.

    - Main Story are just not enough. SE should make it every 3-5 lvl you get a progress.

    - Class quest is okay I guess, but it really didn't chalenge "the class". It should be like a right of passage, not just something you walk by. What I would do is that. e.g archer quest> make me track a band of monster or assasination quest.

    - The use of english language in this game are really poor (I say this, although my english sucks. what does that tell you? atleast, english is my 2nd language).

    - The use of proper language could make the reader immerse to his/her surrounding in the game when doing quests. Making the story more alive.

    My susgestion are:
    - Make more quest that are chalenging, not quest that make you run around. You can do that in newb level, but not when we are lvl 20ish.
    - More use of the gladiator pit. Why not make a arena where player can fight mob, that give xp and reward. Could also make a ladder game.
    - Unexpected quest that you can find in open world. So player can benefit from exploring. e.g. you found some1 hurt>your a con>heal him. your a glad>run and take him to base.
    - Need more scarry mosnter> Manticore, chimera, Hydra. I DO NOT WANT TO FIGHT RABBIT AND SQUIREL.
    - raid quest that we can do as a LS.
    - monster camp, bandit stronghold.
    - 1 more thing. make the chocobo cariedge run around town and camp. it will make the game more lively. Also make NPC run around town too. Make a patrol point for them.

The maker of this game sure lack 1 thing that is just a huge flaw, and thats IMAGINATION.

while i agree that quests need more diversity, i do believe that SE is already headed in that direction. if you treat faction quests as "quests", then you will find some that offers you group play and very tough looking mobs. i think you are asking epic sized quests from "side-quests" which are really just to offer some back story and lore into ffxiv. these quests are for people interested in the world/lore. and i dont know why you want more SP from sidequests when you already get a ton from leve-linking and group play. as of right now, sidequests are not made as an alternate to leveling up your character as it supports a different purpose

after level 20, main quest story starts at lv26, 30, 34, 38, 42, and 46. if you do the math, thats 3-5 levels in between each main story quest.

as for the translation of the game to the english language, i haven't come across anything remotely resembling bad english. i know LL has all nothing but pirate talk which can get really confusing a lot of times but the game itself is translated very accurately.

and saying that the maker of the game has no imagination is just wrong. they have created a whole new world that they are going to flesh out as time goes on.

it'll happen, eventually, most likely when its too late.

and i also agree the translations are so bad, they even spell a word right then spell it wrong completely after and theres been no signs of them fixing it, so completely ruins the feel for me as when i spot it, bam immersion gone.

Thank you for explaining those thing to me.
I have to say i am a new player just play this game about 3 weeks. Still r30 LNC as of now.

Still i have to say no imagination though, because i still think this game don't have to many thing to do.
    - Although the game look fancy with quests with few amazing cutcene, does not mean the quest have a good story line. For me a quest can be consider good if there is a plot.
    - From the start of the game they shoot the word sahagin, fishback. Who are they, what are they?
    - e.g. main story line, where we have to avoid guards. Our partner just walkthrough the guard> we have to follow them> guard see us>partner wont help us. The whole experience just doesnt connect. (which is why I say no imagination)

I Like this game. I feel with layback pace, i can lvl really fast. I really don't know why people complain about fatigue system?

ps: this is not a hate/troll post. I just thought a big company such as SE could do better thats all . but currently enjoying the game. ><
btw...you say the company headed to the rigth direction. But i was disapointed with the current sidequest, and isnt everybody 2? more quest more quest ^^

well in that quest, you have to talk to one of the slyph who puts a spell on u so the guards wont see you. you have to run past them and avoid them while you run to the other side.

i agree, i really hope its not too late. one thing that makes this game different than all the other games that lost subs later on was that SE decided not to charge us at all for since the release. yes we did pay to buy the game, but thats crying over spilt milk. SE's decision not to charge us a monthly sub is a reason why people are still playing and hoping for a better game for when they do decide to charge us again.

SE has a lot of things on their hands left to do but as time passes, things get fixed and more focus can be set on content such as quests and storyline missions.

I do agree that being free would help this game in the long run. But time is running up, instead of worrying about jump and other little things. What this game really need is content, SE always produce amazing graphic. But right now the company really strugling in gameplay and story line department (just look at ff 13)

I propose a forum department concentrating solely about new content.
