Walmart promised an early access code...

They never sent it. It's been days since I ordered Heavensward from Walmart.com. They promised early access. I've called them 3 times trying to get the code. I talked to a manager. No one was at all helpful. They just keep telling me to continue waiting.

Now, they say their systems are down so they can't even check the status of the order. This is ridiculous.

If it is a PS3 license, those are supposed to start coming out later this afternoon I think...they were still testing things out before releasing them.

Many of the big-box stores will have a 48 hour or so delay on processing/sending codes sometimes. If you got it too late in the day, that delay may push you past the 2nd business day for processing so it may get pushed into a third day sometimes (like they may batch things and distribute them once a day or something, and yours hadn't processed yet).

We won't have access until the maintenance is done anyway--which is scheduled to not end until late Thursday night for the bulk of us. Hang in there...there are still like 7hours or something in Bentonville's core office hours. It may be in your inbox when you get home tonight.

Worst case scenario, you may be able to use an online digital option elsewhere, and cancel the Walmart order if it hasn't processed yet.

if your email has an online interface, may want to log in and check your spam/junk folders. Their filter may have mistakenly put it in there. Worth a shot...seen it happen before.

Walmart.com may be using the same distribution plan that Amazon.com is using. Amazon.com isn't going to release the early-access codes until midnight tonight (12:00am EDT 2015/06/19).

Still don't understand why anyone bought the expansion from any source other than SE site or psn. Did yall forget what ARR early access was like. Hope everything thing works in the end.

If that was the case, why not just tell me that when I called them 3 times? It would be fine if they were upfront. But telling me I'll get early access on the product description, then telling me I'll get it the 26th on the phone isn't acceptable... They've given me a new story every time I called. they wouldn't even cancel my order this last time, because they claimed their servers were down.

If you have a gift card which guarantees you a free copy of a game from another source and saves you from spending $120+, it'd be stupid not to.

Have a hard enough time remembering passwords for all the crap I do online as is...and they keep wanting us to change them to stronger/longer ones too. When the SE store told me my legacy account was nixed with the site revamp and I would have to create a new one...I said "screw it", and opted to buy through a site I regularly log into already.

I work all day both Thursday and Friday anyway, so had plenty of time to get the code and register. Regardless...ordered Monday night and Gamestop sent my PC code yesterday and I am already patched up and ready to go (installed last piece on lunch break).

Physical copies cannot be obtained until after it is released on the 23rd...retailers were posting cut-off dates for 6/23 delivery (think the latest I saw was Tuesday unless an in-store pickup). Walmart estimates physical delivery now on 6/26 or 6/27 with basic shipping options...past their cut-off for 6/23 delivery I guess.

Early access codes are promised by 6/19. It is still 6/18.
