So - Titan cutscene is/was done...but no titan battle?
I wonder if they had planned Titan to be fought first but had
to change that due to how the story fleshed out.
Would make sense seeing as the 2nd primal fight will be out patch 1.20.
Quick dev time if making from scratch which im assuming not.

Titan has been in the .dats since beta, probably Alpha. Just because he was shown in the opening video doesn't mean he was meant to be fought first <_______________________> The storyline was also set in place with us meeting Ifrit first, not Titan....so again <______________>

That's why I said maybe he was developed to be fought first but the story went a different direction.
In the story line so far you don't see any cut scenes with people attacking Ifrit, no?
But in that trailer, somebody was clearly attacking Titan.
Which would quite obviously lead to fighting him.
It's not like they'd show somebody whacking him with an ax then saying
"well, that didn't work. Let's come back later in the story and fight him again"
I know he was in the dats.

Uhh, actually yeah. Showing off a trailer for something that isn't in the game
is on the verge of false advertisement.
If I saw tid bits of a movie trailer and half of the trailer wasn't in the movie...i'd be livid.

Oh please half the time movie trailers have content that never makes the final cut. Ever went to see a movie because of "Insert awesome trailer scene" and then you never see it happen?
