so i spent the last 2 days bringing through the main story as fast as i could. i started at the end of 2.0's story, and just earned the achivement 'My Left Arm' (complete the quest "Before the Dawn'

will this let me do the heavensward stuff, or is there anything else i need to do?

i stopped caring around through 'through the maelstrom' when it had me running fedex quests and running back and forth for literally no reason i could discern

why the hell would i care if tataru wants to be an arcanist, a miner, or a clamdigger? i get that shes trying to raise money, but that whole thing did NOT require my attention. so i started just skipping all the cutscenes. i can re-watch them at my leisure in my inn room or on youtube if im curious about something

Tataru is probably going to end up becoming a Thaumaturge after falling in love with all 3 of the "coco" brothers. This is alongside Wedge, by the way.

The patch notes specifically say what you can do and what you can't do depenong on a couple of factors.

Those being: completion of 2.X main scenario or lack thereof, registration of Heavensward or lack thereof.
