Found this video that gives a look into Machinist Gameplay...

The Machinist not only use Ammo system but the Job also use the Combo system for the Job's attacks so Machinist has its own 1 -> 2 -> 3 combo skills and off combo skills.

To activate the 1 -> 2-> 3 combo Machinist will get a small timed buff. However, the time has a small chance to not appear without ammo so remember to not recklessly use skill 2 or skill 3 without the combo buff.

For example,

Skill 1 gives Enhanced Slug shot buff which buffs Skill 2, then Skill 2 gives Clean Shot buff that enhance skill 3.
