How do people call tidus whiney. When the whole game is him cheering up those that whine, but love tarutaru? I don't care for her, and i dislike all her quest that I didn't need to do and had no real relevance to the story, I mean we could have summed it all up without running around for an hour. I was so upset she survived over pap and yda

They're most likely only remembering the very beginning of the game (and don't seem to realise that he kind of has a reason to be whiny/depressed. He's thrown 1000 years into the future, his mother, friends, people he knew are long dead and he's in a world that has a completely different culture to his own. It's a massive shock to him).

I'm going to assume that it's from the time you and she part ways from her self-discovery quest until the time you meet up again at the end of the 2.55 story.

Tataru is basically a character designed for us to empathize with.

She tries a few jobs, levels them part way... then says, oh gee this is too hard for me... then goes to do another....repeat!

Sounds like most people that play FFXIV :P I know it sounds like me, I leveled botany to 50 and am like "NOPE!"
