If you don't like alliteration... you for sure don't want to choose the female lalafell path companion.... =_=

Ya the writer is a Lalafell. It's okay in this instance and in the other articles for "The Mythril Eye".
It does get over used in other instances though, say, when the speaker is not a Lalafell or isn't a linguist. It can get in the way in those instances but alliteration and other poetic devices are a part of the Lalafell culture so it's okay for Havak Alvak and other Lalafell who seem to go "overboard" with a particular poetic device. In XI, some would rhyme, some would use alliteration, some would just add -aru on the end. Some would had their own little "quirks" like adding -ethy or would make up words so they rhymed like Ned Flanders, but you knew you were talking to a Tarutaru when you read the text.
Sometimes when I read the articles I think it's a Lalafell writing them, then it turns out to be a Miqo'te. That is when they should back off on the poetic devices a little more to differentiate the speaker from the Lalafell if they are not a Lalafell. Otherwise it just makes me think that the same writer is writing everything when they are supposed to be different characters.

I usually do't read the story that comes with each event, I just look at the pictures, what the event involves and what date it's coming out.
But I was planning on going back one day and reading up on the lore and everything so things make a bit more sense, after all, it is an RPG so it needs to be driven by a story.
I didn't even notice it until I saw this thread lol, wow. I thought it was hilarious.
Hey, if you're going to get pee'd off by alliteration, either shoot all the Lalafell writers or go back to the lands that aren't shared by all the spoken races.

Aww, come on! I'm sure you're hurting Havak Alvak's feelings. Only very sensitive, special souls would speckle numismatic news with such a plethora of rhetoric. Besides, I found it crafty and funny.Wow... did anyone else get annoyed by this reading the foundation day piece in the mythril eye? I mean, some alliteration is a good thing, as a literary device. But this was just a constant barrage of words starting with the same letter in a row. Tone it down next time, jeez. Funny nonetheless.
Some of them, deftly dovetailed, were really memorable, spontaneous-sounding and... beautiful, even, e.g.:
"...it also affords adventurers—rapidly rising as the realm's richest spenders—a steady supply of salary."R
Super spectacular spelling, surely such a surplus of superior storytelling shall suck in the steady supply of... players. Damnit! XD
Chocobo sez wark?
While the alliteration is a tad over the top it's not unbearable in my opinion. The real problem is that this information does not appear in game and finding the event and knowing what the heck is going on is next to impossible.
They need to start posting stuff like this on the duty boards (Forget what they're called, never use em lmao) at the adventure guilds/taverns under an event listing or news listing imo at the very least! Would be great to see this stuff in game, no reason we should be required to go outside the game world to get all the lore or why we can't have this stuff showing up in the game as well as the lodestone xD
~Rationality falls quite short for those living in their own world~
"See the world for what it is, not for what you want it to be!"
QFT! I like to be immersed in the immersion of very immersive games!
I couldn't read the lodestone post... All i do is scan for the words "Item" and then look for the start/end dates on these events. Sadly, seems they arent offering any items this time![]()
