wait which skills do i double weave?

It's just in the opener mainly, but a few do line up and can be double weaved later in the rotation. For the opener you want to double weave litany+B4B, IR+BoTD, Leg Sweep+Power surge, Life Surge+GK. You don't necessarily have to double IR+BotD if you aren't using a potion, but since these are both 60 sec cds they'll come up together later in the rotation as well.

I tested it with a pair of healer friends back before the AST buffs (the effect of Arrow hasn't been changed) and expanded (party-wide) arrow is a bit weaker than Selene. Single target is better and enhanced is insane. The buffs DO stack.

It was a while ago though. I'm gonna get my friends to come help test with me again soon.

Baked Pipira Pira is generally the best food to use. The current bis set uses Urchin Loaf for higher accuracy gets since it's the lowest dps loss from the A3 set.

And @dualgunner I don't have time to give a full rundown but a few things I noticed:
1. you only used 2 gsk between the first and second BotD when you should be using 3 between every time you recast it.
2. you hold your jumps 20s to use them under b4b which is a huge dps loss in the long run. don't do that.
3. You hold blood for blood for like 4 gcds. Also bad. You should use it as soon as it's up.
4. You might wanna optimize your hotbars better for popping ogcd skills. There's a lot of switching that causes you to delay gcds pretty often. Also never ever double weave with a J/SSD/DD.
5. Take WT and FaC off a macro. GCD macros slow you down because they can't be queued like a normal skill.

I'll try and do a more in-depth thing on it tomorrow or so but those are the initial problems I spotted. I'll also get caps of my bars in case.

Basically what I said is that your 4th and 5th points are what I have set because of my limitations on a controller. I only have 32 places to set, and only 8 are easily accessible at any time, which is why I streamlined it: L2 + Directional, L2 + R2 + Directional, R2 + Directional. Like this, I have the basic combos all easily accessible, all the ogcds are likewise accessible--I have the actual hotbars up there to help me see when something finally cools down so I can pop it.

The same reason of space limitation is why I have F&C and WT macro'd together--the macro slows me down a bit, but I'd be even slower if I had to separate the skills out and then figure out which button to push.

I am stuck on a controller mostly cuz I am inept with a keyboard and mouse, and am in general far more comfortable on a controller. If you have any tips to give for controller organization I'd greatly appreciate it though ^w^

As for everything else, I'll focus on doing more Geirskoguls per minute. I also did not see myself double weaving jumps with anything, but I'll work on not doing that in the future.

I actually play on controller, too, so I know what you mean.

My load out could probably be improved since I'm not perfect, but the idea was to put all the essentials on the main bar and keep 99% of the offensive skills on face buttons to facilitate moving and attacking.

I got rid of that vertical bar on the left after I got used to the 4th hit and realized I never looked at it. At 60 I replaced the left side Mercy Stroke with Geirskogul.

I have my aoe stuff set up on bar 2 and just R1 cycle to it if I need it. I set it so I can only cycle bars 1 and 2 when my weapon is out so it's no problem.

The macro there is my GIVE TP macro. I swap it out with Foresight or Potions as the fight requires. I also have a [please draw enmity] macro for pug tanks. Since I only (rarely) use potions in raids when I have voice, I have no need for anything else there.

I guess the setup is more of a personal thing because I can't really detect the rhyme and reason of yours lol. I see the idea of keeping all your basic attacks up on the face buttons (and thanks for the tip about the R1--I'll keep that lol), which is also what I do. The way I have my keys set up though is so I can facilitate the opening combo simply and keep the attacks up, by streamlining my buttons.

The only macro I really have up there is my F&C and WT macro, since I don't usually need to macro those kinds of things lol.

I moved some things around so I can try and keep WT and F&C off macro, but so far its slowing me down lol. I'll keep practicing it though.
