How to Dragoon Per Second: A DPS Paradigm

At i189, solo on a dummy with no party bonus I parse 1190 dps over the course of 3.5 minutes.

My question is, would the party bonus for strength and possible party compositions increase my dps that much? I'm trying to get to the point I can hit 1400-odd dps or something close for A1S, because that's the baseline I hear from all the raiders on my server.

Not sure where they are getting 1400 from considering no drg has recorded that amount. Unless they are talking about inflated Faust parses. See here:

I get around 27ish str (976 to 1004 iirc) with party bonus. Figure 20-30 dps
