How to Dragoon Per Second: A DPS Paradigm

A lil late to the drg party since leveling War.. I started to work on getting drg to 51 to grind dungeons in off time.. But wow.. I'm not sure I like how Fang and Claw/Wheeling operate, especially with using a controller. Any tips on how you guys set it up? I feel like I have no more space for drg, or really any class. I set up a hotbar changing macro for war Defiance/Deliverance abilities, and it's working OK for now. I'm not sure that will work on the other classes though

This. I'm a pad user only on DRG, since I started on PS3 before switching to PC and didn't bother to change. I could fit all the rotation single target GCD and CD in one set of cross skill, but now it seems is going to be a huge problem since I need to switch. I still need to find out which one is better: if switching set or using L2+R2/R2+L2. Maybe it's time to change to G16/G300 set but I'm so used to gamepad.

I've always used L2/R2 for AoE skills and some buffs such as Invig, Foresight/Bloodbath/Second wind macro, Mantra and LB (rest of the rotation on main hotbar). It looks like I'll have to nix one side of it to use extra skills. I have both left and right side mirrored so it didn't matter which trigger I pulled first, now it will matter I guess ; ;

I had it mirrored too but now I'll have to use L2+R2 for Defensive stuff (Elusive/Invig/Bloodbath/Second Wind/Flurry/Forsight. And I'll use R2+L2 for the new abilities.
