You shouldn't have to get 2 oGCDs in except during the opener. I doubt spacing them out is much of a dps loss, if at all. You can test this too in the sim.

i like to double ogcd on the 2ndFT/2ndBotD.
on the second botd, several skills come off CD consecutively. i think the ideal scenario there is to BOTD/LS before FT and then IR afterwards
not related: my way of maxing dps on a4 is for add phase
when dolls spawn, i like to use all my 4s on alex's leg while using all my non-positional abilities on the doll. its actually kind of tough to execute because on top of normal ogcd management you have to be constantly switching targets and positioning yourself to hit 2 targets withgeirskogul.
so you have to get the doll fairly close to the leg and then before a 4th hit comes up switch to the leg and then back.

I just had a thought.
What is the opportunity cost of clipping x2 BFB, POT, BL, IR CT DoTs over let's say... going HT-TTT4-P-IDC4 on the second "rotation cycle" and repeating the latter?
Could someone smart do the math or run it in Pandas simFF? I'm very interested In this and this could allow us to squeeze out an extra bit of PPS
shouldn't it be pretty straightforward to calculate? the only things that are changing is dot uptime/downtime.
so it's basically
Damage lost from overwriting versus damage lost from DoT downtime.
14gcds between CTs in rotation 2 or roughly 33.6 seconds between them. CT as a consequence would drop for 3.6seconds.
Rotation 1 would be overwriting 6seconds of CT (10gcds is 24seconds).
off blood for blood alone it would be 70*30% or 21potency loss from blood for blood. 3.6seconds of DoTs dropping would be roughly 40 potency. so the pot/bl/ir would have to roughly be worth 20 potency but seeing as how bfb itself is only half the value of the DoT dropping, i doubt pot/bl/ir would contribute the extra 20 potency
I would do it and include STR damage conversions, but I genuinely don't have the time to sit down to do math at the moment sadlyAlways traveling.
I wish I bought a laptop...
assuming that str scales linearly, then 84 out of say 1000 (which is a number we should be hitting very soon) is 8.4% increase in damage. overall, i dont think it changes our rotation

Does target switching affect your swing timer?
Nope. Only human error.

Bumping to the top of the sea of BRD threads.

QUestion regards dots / TTT combo (i know i'm pretty bad at math so please help me out): How long does CT / PT needs to tick to surpass TTT combo? For example soloing a mob or in a quick phase (bismarck for example or any add that don't last 30 secs+). In most dungeons / solo content i just go with double / triple TTT and totally ignore CT combo, but i think its not really optimal.
