Since we don't actually know what the esoterics gear will be (or even exactly how it's going to size up with savage drops!), it's difficult to say what's going to be best.

I'm going for the "get everything in 5 weeks" plan.

What kind of loot plan are you going for? I know there are several ways that people would be taking.

Pretty much what I'll be doing as well, I figure. I got my bolt from f1 yesterday and will be doing 2 and 3 some more today I reckon.

Also, I could never get my gobwalker to recharge at all in f2. Why I was in it when the other three DPSers were bards nobody knows, but it was fun. xD

I could actually try to get the Body and Pants by Week 4 but decided to be a bit more greedy and get my Hands first for more early upgrades and progression sake. With the fast gain of 3 accessories in Week 1, I'm most likely going to get the Ring, Neck and Brace for all the Crit stats that I can get from it.

This one. I'm really hurting for skill speed right now, but the goal is to ride the Alex savage loot train ASAP*. Therefore, it is best to grab VIT and DEF/MDEF greedily because every eHP I get from a left-side piece is one materia-melded HP I don't have buy using all that gil I don't have.

* my group's actual "mission statement" is to get world first, but nobody in it is under the delusion we realistically can or will. Still, we would rather bag an early clear to get on with our lives, hehe.

I went for Ring, Neck, Brace (with the free bolt) and hands.

I dropped to 550 SS/2.42GCD but using Cockatrice Meatballs should fix this and put me back to 2.41. I'll be sitting at 2.41GCD, 386 DET, 664 CRT, 632 Acc, 925 STR.

And I wouldn't prioritise the legs in all honesty. You're better off getting the Esoteric Legs if anything.
