Early Access Participation Requirements
You can participate during the early access period by fulfilling the following requirements:

Must possess an active FINAL FANTASY XIV service account on your Square Enix Account.
Must possess an early access code for the platform that you currently use to play the game.
Must have registered your Early Access code via the steps below in “◆Early Access Registration”.
Early access is not available for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online all-in-one bundle.
*Note: PlayStation®3 users will only be able to participate during the early access period by purchasing “FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Heavensward™ - Early Purchase” on the PlayStation Store available from Friday, June 19, 2015.
Also, in order to enter the new areas being introduced in Heavensward, you will need to have completed the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn main scenario quest “Before the Dawn” that was implemented in Patch 2.55.

explain the link i gave earlier, and also this link here from the lodestone itself which states how ps3 users who pre ordered the physical copy CAN get into early access
