Question about setting new abilities to cross bar

i use a controller to play the game and to make things more efficient and easier for me, i only use 2 cross bars with all the relevant abilities i use for each class (including sprint, limit break, emotes menu and 1 mount). so i simply switch back and forth between set 1 and set 2. but with the new abilities, i won't have room for everything.

it's really awkward to switch between 3 sets of abilities. so if i use an ability from set 1, and i need to use an ability from set 2, i'd have to click through set 3 to get back to 1. it seems insignificant but very awkward when keeping up with the fast pace of battles and timing is incredibly important in many situations.

there is an option to access abilities by simultaneously holding both triggers, by holding one trigger first, then the other and vice versa. this only sort of eliminates the need to switch between 3 sets using the right bumper button, but not really. its only like a second way to access your abilities, it doesn't replace the fact you have to still switch between 3 cross bars.

is there anyway to set your abilities in, let's say set 3, and then only have access to that when using the trigger buttons? I hope that makes sense. basically i only want to switch between set 1 and 2 using the right bumper, and then set 3 using the triggers. is that possible?

Yes, you just need to set which hotbar you want to use as the popups in the menu.

"Enable customization when weapon is drawn" is the option you want. Only tick set 1 and 2. Do the same thing to the option above if you dont want to differentiate between having your weapon out or not.

If you have the top option set to 3 and 4 and the weapon drawn option to set 1 and 2, you will be scrolling between 3 and 4 while you're out of combat and scrolling between 1 and 2 while you're in combat.

i got it all working now the way i want it. i sincerely appreciate help and i'm all ready for the new abilities now
