Byregot's Beard! About time they brought this back.

I was hoping they would do this with Heavensward launch. It seems they really have learned from 2.0 launch and are preparing in advance for server congestion and queues. Dont need it like 2.0 when people would just stay logged in for days in their inn room to avoid having to queue later. Which of course meant a lot of others who actually wanted to play couldn't get through the queues.
well, that s BAD !
Inb4 afk crafting.

I totally did that. But it wasn't the queues I was afraid of. Queues I can deal with. It was 3102.
3102... what a vicious and terrible beast that was.
If the lobby servers can handle the HW launch without that problem, then this is fine.
IIRC during the first month of 2.0, I was on Tonberry, and the queues would only appear during prime time, say from 1900 to 2400. I rarely had to wait for queues because I always logged on before that.
I did run into the Odin mass disconnect then error 3102 combo once, though...

inn room, auto run
outside, afk crafting
pretty easy to craft for a few hours
lol, they tried this for launch. Players quickly found a way around it. Not that I blame them... queues werent the only thing frustrating people trying to log in back then.
