New Voice for Merlwyb?

In the newest trailer, I can't help that notice not only does Merlwyb have a slightly Australian accent but it sounds like Jean Gilpin (Also credited as Jean Elizabeth) isn't reprising the role. Is that another character speaking in the cutscene over her, or do we have a new voice for her?

I have no idea, I never heard her speaking English, always in Japanese.
I think she sounds better in Japanese, and probably all of those Japanese games and animes, sound better in Japanese.
But this is only my personal preference, though.

This seems like a rather contradictory statement. On one hand you say you never heard her speak english, and on the other you say you think she sounds better in Japenese. How can you possibly know the difference if you have never heard her English voice? Anyways it definitely sounded like the same voice to me, just like others have said already, just a more defined accident. Sounds a lot better to me, she actually sounds like shes got a soul now.

My only wish for the voices in this game, is that they actually sound like they are in the area they are in game. Instead of them all sounding like they were recorded in a tiny room. It's not hard to add effects to a voice recording so it sounds like its more outside, or in certain areas...

Good riddance though it doesn't matter to me anymore since i have changed to the original Japanese voice ever since. The english voice for her just makes me sleep.

Yeh I think the VA has been changed for a few of them actually!

I preferred the original VA for Merlwyb!

OP I also think she sounds different. I enjoyed the current VA from the 2.0 storylines so hopefully she hasn't been replaced.

Merlwyb did sound different. A more softer kind of voice instead of the previous and heavier female general type she had.
