I think it's to get more people to do PVP, than to lower how many get the mounts.

well if your part of the pre-mades from gilgamesh grats on your new mounts and if your failstrome or wood whiners (both said BY THERE OWN TROOPS) you will never see this :\

i have done over 500 frontline matches, and only won 60 of them because of pre-made groups (or alliances who just give up) so yea only a small group is going to get what would be a brilliant mount so i am quite annoyed and very sad that a brilliant mount is behind a very moronic lock. :\

i am relying on 7 to 23 random people up to 500+ times to get me a mount, and its only proving how stupid that is, :\

(my mount collecting days are over as wows 240 so far has burned me out of that obsession in other games arghh lol)

If this is actually a 500 FL wins mount, then I'm jumping for joy... because the moment I get on I'll be grabbing this (or having to do a match like I did with ADS to refresh the achievement status).

Regardless if it is or not though, I'll be hunting this beauty down no matter the requirement.

I guess they want to ensure that only a small portion of the playerbase get it?
IMO its a stupid decision. How many people even bother with PvP anyway?(Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure that most players don't even bother with PvP..)

whats the clear rate on t5?

t13 is 5% right... im sure t5 is not far behind, that seems like a small enough portion to me >.>

according to that JP player survey a month back on average T5 is past 40% cleared so its not a small group T13 is a super small group tho.



and know what screw the pvp rewards :\ make it a cash shop item at least then people can actually GET the mount rather then just the extremely small amount :/ 300 is a bloody stretch and if they do want to add things to pop do it after 4 weeks when theres going to be a major patch FOR PvP

Just my two cents. I've got to agree with what was said before; I'll gladly pay for this before seeing it in Frontlines. I love PVP, but frontlines is not enjoyable, and not worth that kind of time. With a trained enough group you could clear T5 faster than get into Frontlines.

Edit: after thinking about it, I'm fine with it being on the cash shop. The fact of the matter is I beat T5, so while I and everyone else will have it (my special snowflake syndrome is hating this logic) I got my clear.

Besides, once I get these last two **** ponies Kirin will be my special snowflake mount anyway XD

That's what's needed, more people doing things they don't want to do in places they don't want to be.

Coming up next we will have a Nael mount for 1000 wins, a certain bird mount for 3000 wins and a Bahamut mount for 5000 wins, please look forward to it.

Don't see any new mounts from frontlines on garlondtools' datamined achievements, but I could just be blind.

i don't understand how having items being sold in the cash shop that have no effect in game play what so ever besides to look pretty can cheapen a game

there's an Odin in the game, you get to defeat Odin in the game, there's an Odin mount in the game, you can't fight Odin to acquire his mount in the game.

you don't do the fight more than the 1 time for yourself and maybe the 2 or 3 more times for your friends.

that cheapens the game.

what i do know is that the money they get from selling said item will help pay for the cost to develop more meaningful in game content. because people don't work for free.

meaningful in game content should be supported by the subscription cost in a subscription based game.

i'm not even against the cash shop. if they want to make a Dhalmel mount exclusively for the cash shop and take that in as pure profit, i'm okay with that. repurposing already existing in-game elements and charging for it is not the same thing.

I will agree with you about the Odin fight. I enjoy that fight, but there's no real reason to do it again other than to help people clear it. Don't care for the drops, or the bickering. Would have been awesome if his mount dropped though =D
