    My personal disappointment is that the current level 50 dungeons aren't giving EXP, unless they're run in Roulette. Which, I mean, sure, I'll happily do Roulette for EXP, and I know it helps out new players who haven't cleared those dungeons yet! Which is fantastic. But, it's going to sting when I party up for friends to help them clear those dungeons, or even for those doing those dungeons for the first time.

    The airship crafting system brings back Materia in the example screenshot. And while FC crafting is a thing that is, ultimately, FC-based... there's supposed to be personal airships in the future.

    I agree 100% on this. No new space for so many more jobs and specializations.

    On a side note, how they deal with Free company crafting and the ability to get grade 5 materia through the Materia NPC (( forget the bugger's name )) reminds me a touch of Warfame and their Dojo and mods system.

    No new armory slots..... welp, I guess they didnt adjust the old gear to be desynthable for nothing

    Mostly the armoury thing... for everyone who has all jobs leveled (or even unlocked) that leaves you with zero spare slots, lol. Awful.

    The finite gathering nodes system. I'm not thrilled with the possibility of waiting ages for a node to pop only to have a team from a FC/LS or whatever appear and mine it dry before I get a chance.

    The ridiculous fact that unless run in roulette, you get no exp from the bazillion lvl 50 dungeons we have. Even then, they didn't mention HOW you'll get your exp. Maybe they'll make it a once a day type thing like roulette is, and the only chance you'll get exp is after the dungeon is over and you'll get the daily bonus. Either way, I feel like that was a bad move. I enjoy a slow grind, but not a crappy slow grind.

    Kinda disappointed that there appear to be no new Grand Company ranks, instead it seems like Hunts are replacing them... I don't like Hunts all that much... The possibility that awesome Grand Company glamour material are locked behind Allied Seals, and might be locked behind Centurio Seals, is not appealing to me. Hunts are just an abysmal piece of content... Give me force pop'd versions with some actual tracking involved and I'd eat it up, however. Not a big fan of the "wait and zerg" mentality Hunts have created, and Mark Bills are just trash in comparison...

    So much this... So now we can buy 6 extra retainers? When are people going to be outraged paid extra retainers?

    The added ability to just play the market. The increasingly significant income from retainer ventures (inb4 someone claims Ventures are a hard currency to obtain...). Two can already obtain you 5,000G a day off Allagan Silver Pieces, lets assume for a minute that the new ventures coming wont provide more ASP, or make the upgrade to Allagan Gold Pieces. Someone paying for 6 extra retainers is now earning, by basically doing nothing at all, 20,000G a day off their retainers, while others earn 5,000G. That is a minimum. It makes no account for something like the 6 extra chances at (fairly valuable) minions. It makes no account for using ventures to obtain (potential valuable) items. It is a paid advantage, plain and simple.

    Not only is this blatantly a paid advantage, it's practically extortion at this point. Plenty of people "need" that extra inventory space, but rather than sorting out the games inventory system, SE is trying to turn an extra buck out of the issue; "Oh yes... We can't errr, fix the Armoire because... um... server limitations! Yeah, please buy extra retainers instead!". By all means SE, I'll buy your dumb little minions like an idiot, but the extra retainers is crossing a line.

    To be fair, it's only affecting auto-attack damage, which means it will probably fall more in line with where crit is now. Of course, crit is getting a boost, and SS is getting boosted up to be more in line with crit, so. . .hopefully this means everything will be closer to balanced? Still not looking forward to having to retest all the stats at 60, but what can you do?

    You mean this?

    Like unspoiled gathering points, these points will only appear at certain times of the day even if they appear in your gathering log. However, so long as they are active, they will not dissipate until they have been depleted.
    Because I take that to mean that if you accidentally cancel a gather the node doesn't disappear. Not that other people can deplete your nodes.
