After the Release of 3.0, Will Clearing FCoB Be Impossible?

To clarify, what I mean is in the initial weeks after the launch of Heavensward, I expect that Final Coil will fall into obscurity for a while. As someone who just unlocked it and won't be able to have it cleared before launch, just how hard will it be for me to find a group to help me clear it after Heavensward's release date?

I've had the same issues (well, I only have T13 left, but it's a pain in the ass to find competent enough people to just be able to REACH the dives part).

Basically, I've summed it up to this :

=> If the level synchronization is lifted (can enter with a full team of lv60 peeps), it will be easy to enter and stomp it with a few patient buddies, because of the power increase making any direct difficulty (dps check and healing/hp check) void.

=> If the synch is left as it is now (so synch at lv50, i130), noone will ever enter it again, as there is no point to go in there and wipe for a certain period of time in order to get useless gear rewards (and those doing it for achievements will try Alexander HM instead).

I seriously hope for the 1st scenario. I think only savage coil should remain synch'ed (as it's the point, it's meant to be hard). but that's because I really hope to be able to beat it one day

I'm in a similar position, my FC has disintegrated in the pre Heavensward lull and I'm at T9. Alexander isn't being released until 3.1, so if you've had your fill of leveling, exploring, and MSQ progression, FCoB will still be the most recent raid content for months to come. How populated it might be, however, I couldn't say. Depends on the desirability of gear and glamour compared to newly released stuff, and if they offer any incentives to go back to it.

There's a few problems with that. One is that Alexander is not coming in 3.1. They have already said it is in 3.0, but locked until 2 weeks after release. Alexander hard is locked until 4 weeks after release. And the other big point is that anyone coming back to final coil is not going to accept players that haven't cleared.

I don't think FCoB will be irreverent completely because of the lore for one. Second, based on the new HW jobs seen in the benchmark, it's obvious we'll see new T5, T9, and T13 weapon counterparts. NIN had their weapon added to those coffers. But I'll admit getting reliable PuG T13 farming today can be hit or miss on the server.

It'll likely have lvl sync though. I don't think the developers would take too kindly for seeing the new SMN use it's Akh Morn-like spell on Bahamut Prime himself or devalue achievements in the game.

Probs the majority will stay away from t13 once 3.0 lands.
There might be FARM parties for the new weps tht will only want players with dozens of CLEARS.
So imo if u can't get a clear by 3.0 release u probably wont find ppl to run it with till the wait period of alex normal post 60.

I'm honestly fine with that as long as I can get a clear eventually. I just hate the feeling that it's possible I may never experience the end of coil.

Oh sorry I still haven't got SCoB down must have missed those patch notes as I don't have a static I just wrote it off as content I was going to see in 2.x

Have they said anything about going in with less that 8 people?
I've heard that you should be able to do so with most ARR content I'm not sure if that would apply to Coil right away though.

Seems I also misread your initial post slightly so apologises again for that, I don't know how lucky you'll be with everyone rushing to 60 and working on alexander in week 2 and savage in week 4 from what I gather.
I seem to be out of my depth on this topic and regret wasting your time with my newbieness. XD
