So...they aren't giving us a free one instead allowing us to purchase 4 more additional retainers?

Someone mentioned that the note is for 2.0 and that maybe in 3.0 you'll get a 3rd one free.
Although that was just someones personal thought and as things are right now it sounds more that you're stuck with 2 free ones.

The "[2.0]" beside it simply means you don't have to purchase the expansion to access it.

Probably because Yoshi as good as promised a third free retainer to deal with the inventory problems predicted to arise in 3.0.

However, we still don't have full patch notes. He says in hope.

Instead of offering a free retainer they should just fix things like fishing baits that need their own storage for free. If your a heavy crafter, gatherer, and glamour person you use up all of the 2 retainers they give you. This game often encourages the bad lady syndrome so to speak. I'm not saying they owe us more space but many mmos often run into similiar issues with storage and the answer isn't always to charge the customer more for it. If the game encourages hoarding then why are we being fiscally challenged because of it?

What difference would it have made? Would you really not order the expansion pack just because of that?

If there are so many new items that they can't list them in the patch notes, what does that say about our far more limited inventory space as of the moment?

The amount of space may be no different, but the amount of things to fit in that space has grown.
