Crafting question after reading patch notes

[2.0] New recipes have been added to the previously existing master recipe books.
If a player has already used these master recipe books, the recipes will be automatically added to the crafting log upon the release of patch 3.0.

soo do we need to lvl up a craft and get all the master books to get heavensward items? i have all crafts lvled but never bothered with the books since it was so close to the exspansion.

I'm sure you will get recipes for the basic craft 50-60, I take that part as making starred items 3/4/5 star items

It's saying that if you already bought the master crafting books from Talan, you will see some new recipes in your crafting log. If you don't have the books, you need to buy them to access the new recipes.

Sorry to be a pain but if I got shall we say master book 2 in goldsmith already the patch will add more automatically?

As this is a post about crafting based off the patch notes, I have one of my own.

The specialist abilities, I keep hearing that these will all but eliminate the need to level every job to certain levels to be an effective crafter, and I see Heart of the X gives you six new skills for just that job.

Is it safe for me to believe this is now accurate?

You won't be able to specialize in more than 3 jobs at this time.

This is probably referring to 2/3/4-star Lv 50 gear for the new jobs? They belong in the master books, so they need to be added to them.

I may have not made myself clear, my apoligies.

What I was questioning was, with these six new skills that specialization gives you, you no longer have to level 4 jobs to be good with 1.

Take for example I want to be a weaver, to make anything worth while, I would need to level up cul, crp, and lwr for their cross class abilities. Is this still going to be required?
