SE please release the english preliminary patchnotes that correspond with the reading at E3.

They've always released the patch notes prior to the reading before so I doubt that they would change it up now. This isn't some special event that was suddenly planned for E3. It's something that happens every time they release the prelim patch notes and due to the release schedule, it happens to occurs around the time of E3 this year.

Well, the notes should be available in English anyway right? So we don't need a reading of them...

But its rather bizarre to go to an event where the dominant language is English and not have a translation.

As far i can remember, the reading of the Patch Notes on the Live stream has always been solely for the Japanese community. At least… I haven’t seen any translations of these Patch Note Reading Sessions. Maybe it’s a “cultural” thing?

I’m guessing that the Preliminary Patch Notes will be released on Lodestone, just before they will be reading it on the live stream. But, there’s also a Duty Commenced about 4 hours after that. So, i would think that Bayohne, Camate and Grekumah will be touching the subject of the patch notes as well as showing us around the SE/FFXIV stand at the E3.

lets keep our hopes up we will have the preliminary patch notes released tonight or tomorrow so we can read them in english... at least have a translator for it... we enjoy to know and understand whats happening as its happening too..

Just imagine the boredom of a 3 hour lasting livestream from Yoshi reading and that translator lady repeating everything in english and you'll see why they didn't do it.

The duty commenced is on Wednesday at noon PDT. So actually it's 16.5 hours after the patch notes reading.

I don't think I'd be bored watching considering it isn't the full patch notes, but it would be incredibly difficult for the translator to translate it all so that's understandable.
