I love how they showed that off against the new Primal; "Four-fold master of the blade? How cute!"
Really hoping ranged Limit Break ends up being a frontal AoE which gets reduced potency the more targets. Can't really see it being unique otherwise; DPS for single target, ranged for 2~3 targets in a line, mage for 4+ targets.
Yeah, I've read the patch notes... Reduced potency for more targets was my key point, which is actually how a fair number of boss mechanics work, so it's certainly possible. It would make the Limit Break far more interesting and distinct compared to mages Limit Break. I imagine they'll just go for slightly stronger than mages, but the strait line it fires in being very restrictive as the pay-off for that extra AoE damage, though.

[2.0][3.0] The limit break has been adjusted as follows:
The limit break for ranged physical DPS has been changed to an attack to all targets in a straight line before the caster. Furthermore, level three limit breaks can now only be used by jobs.
Wondering what scenario will cause the ranged LB to be desirable over a casters. Other than all casters are dead, not in the party.
