How will they position the new gears which are above lvl 50 comparing to the current gears that we have?

They have announced that current best gear will be good until at least level 55 (so ilvl 130) and the end game tome gear for 3.0 is ilvl170

cuz im pretty off from ilvl 130, should i start farming ilvl130 before the expansion comes out?

Since the last required content in 2.55 is I believe i90 or so, i100 would be more than enough for minimum requirements if you're just doing story.

But the higher you can get, the longer you can go without needing to replace anything. As mentioned above, they have confirmed that i130 will be good until around level 55.

It likely won't make much difference at all what gear you have.
The first stuff you can buy in ishgard and the first 51+ things crafters can make will likely be an item level of 110 or more so flooded AH day one most likely

and while leveling not having the top of the line gear is pretty much no hindrance at all.

In other words unless you participate in end-game when it is fresh, don't sweat it.

Yeah most likely need a gear upgrade but I'd aim for ilv 100 gear then get the 120s then you should be golden.

AF1 as in the i55 quest gear? If so, you'll struggle getting through the main scenario up to 2.55 so I would recommend getting some soldiery and poetics pieces to gear up a bit. If you meant the i90 job specific gear from antique armor tokens, formerly myth tomes, you'll be fine. In that case running the current expert dungeons for a few drops will help boost your level and give you tomestones too.
