PS4 - Launcher very long to load/Does not load + Heavy lag in-game.

So, I've been playing on Ps4 without any issue ever since the game launched on the platform and now that we're only a few days away from Heavensward I cannot login to the game anymore. =|

Here's my issue:

For the past few weeks I've had terrible lag spikes preventing from raiding and making it very annoying to do any dungeons. Right now I cannot even login to the game because the launcher will not load and eventually times-out trying to connect to the SE servers.

Region: Quebec
ISP: Videotron
Server: Excalibur

Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help resolve this issue.

P.S. I have not experienced any lag or slow connection issues in any other games on my systems.

Hi there!

Got the very same issue as you and some of my guildies on PS4/PC suffer from the same lag problem since a month at least.
We are on Mateus.
They are also on Videotron.
Plugged with a Lan cable doesn't change a thing.
Other online games play #1.
We called Videotron to check our connection and everything is perfectly fine.
Several people I've crossed paths with in donjons said that I wasn't the only one lagging.

Since yesterday, the launcher work erratically. Several parts of the login screen load randomly OR the "Connect" button doesn't work when pressed on. The only trick I've got is to restart the console until the page loads and finaly "works". I took me 20 minutes yesterday and this morning to get connected.

At first I thought that the Heavensward pre-order was the issue for the launcher but it's not the case

I am on Coeurl and have been getting bad lag spikes the last few weeks too

ok the reason there is lag issues on pc and PSN most of all is that they are working out the issues because of launch days they had announcements on the forums about this and on the maintenance patches also this is a on going thing so they can deal with the issues of the early access why so many ppl have the access they are trying to deal with the overload when the game really launches on Tuesday the 23rd there will be no problems and they have 4 days to fix it so there will be alot of maintenance going on
