Just like in EQ, Shadow Knights are called SKs instead of the ingame abbreviation on gear: SHD.

Or in both games where Paladins are called Pallies, not PAL/PLD.

Except DRK is the more official way to use Dark Knight due to how the game uses 3 letter shorthand for all classes.
