Honestly I do feel putting the new classes behind a main quest gate was a bad idea in my opinion. Since you will have situations like this the only thing a new player can get out of the expansion is a new race.

Thats not true. Also new players will get everything of the expansion. But not instant.

And don't forget: Its an expansion of an already existing game. Its not a new game.

Indeed, it is in the nature of an expansion and progression of an existing game and story.

ARR has to continue beyond the start of HW since there may be players who do not buy the expansion yet and still sub to ARR. Because of that, the availability of the new jobs requires access to the expansion areas, since those new jobs are part of the expansion, and they are therefore unavailable to players who only have access to the ARR areas.

They will boost EXP earned from ARR MSQ so that it makes it easier to reach Heavensward content. You won't be PLD too long don't worry. And the MSQ will give you enough ilvl gear to complete ARR, so no farm at all either. You'll get there soon enough.

all them people attacking me sory but at THIS LEVEL all i need to do is spam riot blade basicaly with a flash here and there im not joking when was the last time you guys played a low lvl Glad ? sory but thats ALL you need to do at this level and im falling a sleep while tanking.

yes i will play DRK and will be good with it. i know myself if i play a class that i REALY enjoy asteticaly and immersion wise no matter how Underpowered or broken it is i play good with it sooo don't judge me.

Riot Blade combo certainly wouldn't cut it in dungeons with even average dps. Or do you call "tanking" doing solo content?

No, you have no way to state you will be good at DRK. From what we've seen DRK has a balancing act to manage MP whilst upkeeping Darkness buff- this seems significantly harder than your current "tanking method".
