I never go online with Steam for this reason.I have to ask... why do you want to buy it through Steam? Is there some overriding requirement that compels you to use Steam over the game's own launcher? I mean, I can't stand that my copy of Skyrim will only run through Steam. Makes playing on the go near impossible unless I jump Steam's hoops to activate offline mode before leaving home, which is idiotic when the game in question has no online components whatsoever.
so wait can I add arr key I got from steam to my Account like I would for ps3 or ps4 to get it work

I'm sorry but I can't understand your situation with the amount of punctuation that is missing...
Are you saying you bought ARR on steam? If so, you can only buy Heavensward on steam.
So you haven't linked your ARR registration code that you got from Steam to any Mogstation? Then yeah, that's probably it. You didn't create a second square enix account when you bought it through Steam, right?

You could have. Can't, now, if you've already used it to make an account. Not that you have any real reason to unless you're that insistent on using Steam as a launcher to launch a game that already has it's own launcher...
He means that you can't if you already linked it to another account. You bought ARR through steam recently and haven't been able to play it through Steam. Since you didn't know about putting the code into the account then you probably haven't done this, so you should still be able to register it on the Mogstation.
nope steam cant be added over pc version what the hell even called them and said they said they couldn't how lame
....why do you want the steam platform anyways?
Just add the game via "Add Non-Steam Game".
If you already have the PC version then obviously you can't get the steam as it won't allow you at all.
