FFVII Crossover?

I wouldn't mind a Red XIII or Mechanical Moogle mount. However while some character designs for the most were made for simpler more anime esque character designs. I can't stand to see Clouds hair style if its done to look more realistic. (I didn't care for the film version either).

Considering it did make all other FF titles more mainstream. I would not believe for a second that SE would not have some kind cross title promotion for or prior to its release. The question is will FFXIV have a dungeon involving the phantom train (like doom train in 6) ending with a reference the beginning of 7, mounts, or glam gear like the lightning returns event. Personally aside from a mount, I'd like to see some Shinra co. suits the Turks wear as glam gear. Heck were getting Machinist with Heavensward might as well look like a professional while shooting things. Then again we do have a Gold Saucer. Maybe it will be involved with an event instead of a world thing as with Lightning Returns..

ok buster sword for Dark knights from gold saucer, GOLD chocobo mount would be cool, but i think we have enough FF7 fan service for now ^w^ got to give some more love to the other 14 games in the series :P

I could see them doing an event similar to the Lightning Returns event that rewards glamor weapons based on the weapon models appearing in the FFVII remake along with a couple cosplay outfits.

As said above, Red XIII mount is a no for Yoshida. However, when FFVII was in development, Cobalt XIV and Indigo XV were supposed to be clones of Red XIII. So I suggest a Cobalt XIV mount: a blue palette-swap of Red XIII with a XIV tatoo .

Never played 13, but as far as I know, Lightning kind of jumped about the place dimensionally.

True, but if I were to compare the hype levels, I'm pretty sure FFVII stands as a mountain beside a grain of sand.
I wasn't a huge fan of VII (IX will ever have a portion of my heart), but I'm hyped as hell for this news.
