I think the need to go to main menu and hit "stand" to get up from resting needs to go. When I move that is all that should be needed to get up from "sit" just my opinion.![]()

You can also just open ur chat box hit the up arrow key (retypes last command which should be /sit) and u will stand up.I agree as well but just fyi in case you didn't know.

That is true did not think about that lol
LMAO! Always glad to help.I do know what you mean though. In XI, u just moved and u got up. I STILL catch myself trying to do that or the urge to "rest" in order to regain HP/MP ><
Its much better if they fix it exactly like FFXI ... move > standup .
Yeah I really don't see why its not that way now =P
Yeah...it's the same with casting. When you accidentally hit the wrong cast and you use to be able to move to stop the cast...now you are supposed to cast the same spell again. Weird but oh well.![]()
..
Soon you'll be able to jump to interrupt casting... but yeah... when I miscast my first instinct is to run a few steps...
LoL Ferth... glad I am not the only one. I still have not been able to stop this reflexive behaviour.
Move to interrupt sitting would be nice. As would maybe a /stop command...to interrupt casting or weapon skill execution.![]()
OMG! I'm so glad somebody else realizes this. I am not to clear as to why the Devs for XIV constantly repeat mistakes that were made in XI.
I realize the need to make this game different, but if your going to have the same features to make it feel "familiar". Don't break what works!
Good post, this needed to be brought up. I do like that you regen faster sitting, but it's risky business in aggro filled areas to do so!
