What a weird thread.
What a weird thread.
Yeah I dunno OP, I thought Vanilla FF11 and RotZ battle music absolutely blew. All the expansion battle music after that was phenomenal though.
I really like the music in this game a lot except for Thanalan's regular battle music, and that's only because of the dumb first 3 seconds of it. They should trim it so it starts with the electric guitar part![]()
I'm actually surprised it took this long for a thread like this to pop up. I dont even play with the music on anymore, would be nice if they let you import a playlist or something, or at the very least give you the option to choose what songs to play in what region spanning different genre. That way you can at least keep it semi-fresh.
He says he wants more exciting music then proceeds to link to FFXI tracks.
OK.
It's just my personal opinion, but I feel XI's battle themes sound like "proper" (for lack of a better word) music that should play during a battle sequence. While XIV's is still nice, it just doesn't compare. Of course, it might just be nostalgia talking.
I like Ul'dah music. ^^ the only music in-game I can't stand is the market wards(I swear if I'm even in there for 2 mins I wanna punch something XD), crafting, and Firefall music(thank goodness it's gone!) lol
For everything else I keep the game music on.

I actually agree with the OP, as selbina was probably my favorite track from any final fantasy(for whatever reason.) The kingdom of san d'oria. also felt like a big caslte, with a city around it. I think it was the wind pipe in most the songs [=
MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
Need some heart thumping music. Something that can hype you up, and give you the balls to take on Mike Tyson one on one.
My fav type of music is battle themes, so yeah you understand.
I know that this is a matter of taste.
IMO the music in this game is VERY boring. FFXI is way better.
