I'm new to Twitter myself so unsure but I was told by a friend that it shouldn't matter as long as you include all of the # and @ that they ask for. By putting @FF_XIV_EU you are tagging them, so they should see it even if it doesn't appear in the # feed. I think I remember someone saying in the NA contest that they don't show new members without follows in the # feeds as they got a lot of spam messages in the feeds before.

I see. I'll try and get someone to follow my new twitter account, to see if that helps (like you've mentioned). It's kind of disconcerting when you go through all the rigmarole of getting your screenshots right, and then tweet them, only to be unsure (for over a week) if you're even entered, properly.
