Have to have access to Ishgard, which means your character has to have completed the main story up through 2.5.
You need to be able to enter Ishgard to get them, so you'll at least need one job at 50 and finished all ARR storyline quests.
i think he means is there any specific job u need a certain level lol and answer is no i think :P
Specific jobs to unlock, no, but I bet there will be a lot of DRGs turned DRK that are running around without provoke when the game first comes out.
Cross class skill information is available, and you'll want MRD and GLD for dark knight, THM and CNJ for Astrologian, and ARC and MNK (I think) for machinist.
Archer/lancer.
Archer/pugilist is bard.
Machinist was Archer and Lancer just so ya know ^__^ (lol I hope new jobs after these wont need Lancer every melee and non magic dps has to have Lancer at the moment)Specific jobs to unlock, no, but I bet there will be a lot of DRGs turned DRK that are running around without provoke when the game first comes out.

I kind of wish they'd take the whole Chakra/TP recovery aspect they're giving Monk and swap Lancer for Rogue. It's kind of silly how the went to the trouble of adding Rogue and yet no Job actually uses it... Then again the only things of note Rogue offers are Goad and Perfect Dodge; though Perfect Dodge is an amazing skill, I doubt anyone would want to part with Blood for Blood...
Kind of hoping they just drop the whole arbitrary system altogether actually... Some Jobs are already going to be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for new cross-class skills come 60 (two extra slots and my only current options for White Mage are Ruin and Physick...). I think it would be much better to just pick from a variety of Classes, rather than limiting to two. Ninjas new skills in particular strike me as fairly... Meh... Quelling Strike would achieve basically the exact same thing, instead I'm probably going to cross-skill something like Featherfoot or Haymaker (since that would actually stack up nicely with Perfect Dodge, though it's still doesn't seem like something I'd ever use outside PvP).

The new jobs have only 1 or 2 requirements:
Level 50
Have finished the 2.55 mainstory.
There are no class requirements, but it's recommended you have the two classes leveled for cross-class purposes for the new 3 Jobs.
