PS3/PS4 Digital HW info on Codes.

I'm sure many of you already know this information. I also know many of us don't. So this is for those of us who still don't know what's going on with pre-order codes and registration codes for those of us who are getting the digital CE or regular digital versions of HW off of PSN.

Long and short is, we don't have any codes to worry about. As stated in the link: if we pre-order via PSN the pre-order is tied to our PSN account. On the day of early access we will be prompted to link our accounts to our particular version of HW(normal or CE) and that's it. no codes needed anywhere. The pre-order "code" is registered automatically in our services part of the PS4 upon purchase (read the part of verifying under the Downloaded section) and like mentioned before our accounts will be linked on the day of early access.

PS. If you are having a hard time finding the CE on the psn store, type the whole "Final Fantasy" in the search and it will come up under the normal version. Looking for it under the "new" tab and the "add-ons" tab only yielded the normal non-CE version for me, so I had to do the above to find the CE

I did it on PS4 by highlighting the FF XIV ARR, press down then highlight "related items", you'll see all the lists of expansions, CE $59.9, standard edition $39.9, and the bundle, FF XIV & Heavensward standard editions in 1 purchase $59.9, and it gives you a warning though, you'll not be able to download them until June 23rd (the bundle one).

I just hope the digital items for the CE come out as a separate cost upgrade for the non-CE version eventually.

See this thinking strikes me as odd because 3.0 doesnt see a large number of people receiving free copies like 2.0 did where every 1.0 user got a free PC copy of 2.0.

My thinking was always they put that upgrade campaign out for those people in order to try and grab whatever money from sales they could from that demographic not so a player could buy the regular edition and upgrade it later.

right lol, which is why I said that. I for one was confused and even though this was discussed many times, I needed to read it with my own eyes instead of seeing members talk about it. so this was more to clear any confusion for folks like myself

and yea I agree, the items will prob be available in the store later on
