Who is composing the newer tracks for the game? I don't recall hearing Nobuo Uematsu working on new pieces. The new Black Shroud music just screams Kumi Tanioka to me...

That music has always been in there, it just was never implemented. It does have a Kumi vibe going though.

I would love to hear more Kumi Tanioka material.

The main theme I feel in this piece is forgiveness, specifically, the forgiveness and timelessness of nature. I imagine the battles being waged in Vana 'diel's past as well as our own, and even though so much blood is shed and nature vilified, life still grows from the scars of battle as if saying "let's try to get this right one more time".

This piece is pretty powerful.

Her stuff resonates with me more than Uematsu's. I hope she does some tracks for XIV.

For now pop animation is good. Ffxi took 6 secs to use whistle. It was pop in also only dismount showed bird trot off only. Have patience guys it will get even better. So excited about not walking so damn much yay!
