    Double EXP?

So I am new to the game (2weeks) I am loving this game and everything it offers now, and everything that is coming with Heavensword. I read on a fan site that new players will be getting double exp once the expansion rolls out. This is to help them get to the new content quicker. MY question is will it be new players that start June 23rd? or all new players like myself?

From my understanding, the exp rewards from the main story quest will be doubled after Heavensward, so it applies to anyone who hasn't done the quests. So it would apply to you, too, for the ones you haven't done yet.

There is no apostrophe in Au Ra.
Stop adding one three years later.

This would also mean by the time you get to the end of the first main quest arc regarding the Empire, you should have a firm grasp of the game and have been at lvl 50 for quite a while.

Note to new players coming in:

Do your class quests. All of it. And start on your relic.
At the end of A realm reborn, you're going to face your first 8-men dungeon. Be prepared to run fast, or be left behind.
Once you get to Hard mode dungeons, you're going to have to team up with people who have zeta and top gears. Be prepared to spam agro , spam heal and AOE.

For the love of God above, announce it if you're new to something. People will understand but there will always be butthats, so just grit your teeth if someone bash on you. Most of the vets know you're new by the way you handle your class.

^ I agree with above - Its far better that we know your new than you doing a mistake then telling us then. At least we'll be able to help you or advise you on what to look out for.

Sorry, but I don't agree with your advice at all in regard to telling new people to start their relic. That's going to be a huge waste of time considering we're getting a brand new relic quest in an upcoming patch.

Doing the initial relic quest at 50 - yes, just the initial step - still gets you an i80 weapon that will be useful for quite a while. It's also super, super easy. Unless the new equipment drops added to the 2.1-2.55 series of events makes up for it; but even then it probably won't until later and you'll still benefit from having a better weapon.

And yet doing Syrcus Tower and getting some soldiery to get an i110 weapon is almost as easy for a much better weapon.

    Player : フェアリーのミラプリも作ってるんですか?
    (Any plan on Fairies glamour?)
    Yoshi'p Sampo: フェアリーはエギではないので、予定がないです。残念ながら。
(Since Fairies aren't Egi so, No.)

Unfortunately, Soldiery isn't going to exist when Heavensward hits. There's no telling what state or what resources that option will consume; and Syrcus Tower entry still requires i70 entry minimum; whereas you will likely be able to complete the first step of the relic at around the same time you clear Thornmarch/Leviathan in the 2.1-2.55 events.

Again though this can all depend on if - or rather when and what - weaponry the MSQ will hand to you. It's entirely possible that the relic will be almost useless because you're handed an i70 weapon one quest after Praetorium.
