Personally I will be maining DRK because they are badass, end of story.

Interesting...another thread "complaining" (I'm not sure how to label what you are doing, though I suspect part of it is trolling) about DRK. Got me to bite I guess.

But seriously I will be playing DRK because it is actually a damagey aggressive tank. I love pld's safety but it's boring and then warrior tries to be edgy and aggressive but is just even more boring.

If I play a game I almost always tend to go for the most aggressive classes that have the highest skillcap/floor. DRK, Scholar and Machinist fit that bill. (I wanted to say Monk but it bored me for some reason? I just didn't find the movement mechanic interesting and instead just frustrating because at least 60% of the tanks decide to play spin the bottle with the enemy mobs... == frustration).

A good DRK from the skills and stuff I've seen of the DRK will be fantastic and amazing. A shit one will be what the majority of the players of DRK will be.... and it will be horrible and make healers want to scream. I severely doubt we will see "just okay" / "medicore" DRK.

I will probably play DRK because I am on a "try all the things" kick and want to learn how to play all the tanks/healers I can. Not as interested in MCH as I am AST/DRK.

I'll give DRK a poke, might as well see what they bring to the table compared to WAR and it might be a nice thing to use when there's another WAR in the party...on the other hand I could end up loving it and going on to show the lolDRK guts wannabes how it's supposed to be done.
