Does anyone know what we actually need to unlock the DK class? Do we need to have the Paladin unlocked to 30, and warrior to 30? Or just Warrior? Does anyone know the prerequisites yet for obtaining the class? I can't seem to find any concrete info unless of course none has been released.

All I know is I am ready to do some Dark Knight stuff! Anyone know if they have any life leeching type abilities or no?

All you have to do is go to Ishgard, there are no level requirements at all. Some of it's abilities steal enemy hp under certain conditions.

It is unlocked in Ishgard. Can't enter Ishgard without completing the MSQ through 2.55. So have to be done with the MSQ. That's probably the only requirement.

You don't "have" to level up those other classes but if you are serious about tanking as a DRk having things like provoke, flash, and CC damage mitigation cool downs will be considered mandatory by most of the community.
