Not sure if it had changed but you need the final turn to progress into the next. So T5 needed to unlock second coil, T9 to unlock final coil, etc.
Again i am not 100% certain on that. Coil is a seperate story from the main story, but nice to see
Oh and T9 is harder then 5 but ironically T10 and 11 are easier then 9, lol
Yep, you need to defeat Twintania for coil 2 as far as I know.
