At least you've seen the thing drop. I've done WoD multiple times since launch and (because I want it) I've still never seen the brd body drop.

Funny story. I've been farming for the Mage body for ages. Went in with Bard and won both the bard and mage bodies and an Onion Knight card dropped too.

Things just have a way of working themselves out.

Did you call him out on his lack of healing? Did you try to kick him? If you didn't take any preventive measures, then you only have yourself to blame in this case.

Either way, just use tomestones to gear up. The beggining on 3.0 will probably be tailored toward i90 or i100 since the minimum needed to beat 2.55 is i90. Once you get into HW, you can just gear up during that.

There were no preventative measures. I had to solo heal because the healer dropped at the start. We had no healer for quite some time (which was shocking cause the spots usually fill fast).

WoD gear won't be that useful in the expansion anyway except maybe a couple levels but with fate grinding your gear doesn't even matter. Once you hit level 60 they have confirmed the first set you get will be ilvl 170 from farming lv60 dungeons.

Come HW all the wod gear will be obsolete. The gear u you get as quest reward may likely be above I120 so take it easy!

i130 = useful until Level 55.
i120 = Maybe until level 52.

Better off getting Poetics gear, since that can be upgraded.

If something so trivial really gets you -that- flustered, then yes, I'd suggest you find a new hobby. This isn't the first time this has happened, it will happen again, and it's unlikely that it'll be addressed any time soon. Is it awful that such scenarios occur? Of course. But really, you are getting bent out of shape over a piece of gear that likely won't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. So quit if you are seriously that flustered about it. This obviously isn't a game any more at that point in my opinion, it's an obsession.

It would be unfair to players who join in-progress if they couldnt roll on loot, would you rather have groups abandon because they dont have replacments for critical jobs?

You may see alot of the posts in this thread as insults, but the fact is your over reacting especially given that in a weeks time that gear will be obsolete.

First of all if you really wanted it you could have gone bard and needed to lower the chances of someone rolling over you. Also some people have been farming a piece of gear since WOD came out and still haven't gotten it so you're not the only one. Get over it and move on.
